Cookies & browser storage

The portal uses sign-in cookies to provide your account and offers an optional saved layout preference. We do not install advertising trackers or analytics cookies in the portal.
Sign-in cookies

These first-party cookies are set when you sign in and are needed for the account service you request. Without Remember me, server access expires after a short session of up to 12 hours. Browser-session cookies normally end when the browser closes, although a browser's session-restore feature may keep them. Signing out clears the portal cookies.
Optional layout preference
If you choose the option below, browser storage named rubies.sidebar remembers the expanded or collapsed sidebar and the version of this choice. It contains no account identifier and is used only for the layout. It has no fixed expiry and remains until you switch it off here or clear this site's browser storage.
Your controls
You can remove the optional layout preference above at any time, free of charge. Your browser also lets you block or clear site cookies and local storage. Blocking sign-in cookies prevents account access; removing a layout preference simply restores the normal layout.
Browser-storage choices apply to this browser. Optional job-alert emails are controlled separately in account settings or using an email's unsubscribe link. Clearing cookies does not delete your worker, booking or pay records.
